DEDICATED TO QUALITY
Partner and Winemaker
A Princeton graduate in American History who wanted to work one summer in the winery before she found a 'real job,' Whitney spent the harvest of 1999 in the cellar with hoses and barrels and never left. Now working on her sixth vintage (2004), Whitney makes wine with her mentor Mia Klein, and does not hesitate to tell everyone that she has the best job in the world!
Laura discovered her passion for wine and winemaking while in New Zealand working harvest for a small winery. Having graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Laura returned from New Zealand to pursue a Masters degree in Oenology at UC Davis. Laura worked the harvest with Whitney for Vintage 2003 before going on to the Margaret River region of Australia to work Vintage 2004. Laura brings to Fisher Vineyards her enthusiasm for great wines, scientific background, and practical winemaking experience - an incredible addition to the Fisher Team.
