RCF Vineyard
This vineyard, located near Calistoga, is named for our son, Robert Charles Fisher. It was planted in 1985 with Merlot bud-wood from the famed Three Palms Vineyard located just to its south on Silverado Trail; it is also planted in Cabernet Franc, the bud-wood coming from the well-known Diamond Mountain Ranch.
Over the years, the RCF Merlot has proven itself with blockbuster chocolate and black cherry aromas and flavors. Its style is rich, chewy and sumptuous, and very easy to warm up to for all Cabernet fans who think Merlot is a weak sister. In one word - WOW.
