2004
SONOMA COUNTY
Mountain Estate Vineyard, Chardonnay
Our Mountain Estate Vineyard, with its steep, rocky, Northeast-facing slope at an average of 1,300 feet in elevation, receives early morning sun and minimal exposure to hot afternoon temperatures. Planted in 1999, this vineyard site has proven ideal for the gradual ripening and maximum maturation of Chardonnay grapes. Following the inaugural vintage, the 2004 is sure to impress Fisher Chardonnay enthusiasts, continuing the legacy of distinctive world-class Chardonnay produced entirely from our Mountain Estate vineyards.
Tasting Notes
The 2004 Mountain Estate Vineyard Chardonnay has a beautiful pale straw color with brilliant clarity that bursts with aromas of citrus, ripe pear and notes of sweet clove spice. The wineÕs silky-smooth texture on the palate combined with good mountain acidity gives this intense Chardonnay structure and focus. The wineÕs abundant flavors of green apple and poached pear culminate with hints of caramel and warm spice. In other words: delicious.
