2005
SONOMA COUNTY
Mountain Estate Vineyard, Chardonnay
Our Mountain Estate Vineyard, with its steep, rocky, Northeast-facing slope at an average of 1,300 feet in elevation, receives early morning sun and minimal exposure to hot afternoon temperatures. Planted in 1999, this vineyard site has proven ideal for the gradual ripening and maximum maturation of Chardonnay grapes. Since the inaugural vintage, the 2005 is sure to impress Fisher Chardonnay enthusiasts, continuing the legacy of distinctive world-class Chardonnay produced entirely from our Mountain Estate vineyards.
Tasting Notes
Pure mountain minerality, with aromas of orange blossom and ripe pear drizzled in honey. The palate opens with a vast expanse of flavors ranging from freshly cut pineapple with coconut shavings to sweet floral notes of jasmine accompanied by fresh crisp acidity. Intense and weighty on the finish the Mountain Estate culminates where it began with bosc pear and honeysuckle flavors that linger with you.
